 Public Transit

The Holiday Inn Toronto Yorkdale is able to promote ourselves as a carbon reduction location based on our close proximity to public transit.      The Yorkdale Subway Station is located across the street through the Yorkdale Mall.

The 29 Dufferin Bus runs 24 hours and will drop you off in front of the hotel.

 Downsview Park

Toronto's largest park is located a 5 minute drive north of the hotel.   Downsview Park is host to many concerts and special events throughout the year.    The Hoop Dome, Grand Prix Kartways, The Rail Indoor Skate Park and The Hangar are all on site.

 Canadian Air and Space Museum

The Canadian Aerospace Museum is the home of a life-sized replica of the Avro Arrow, an integral part of Canadian history.  The CAS building is located 5 minutes north of the Holiday Inn Yorkdale and is the original 1929 home of the deHavilland Aircraft of Canada Ltd. aircraft manufacturer.

 Centre for the Arts

Located minutes from the Holiday Inn Toronto Yorkdale, in the heart of North York, the Toronto Centre for the Arts is currently host to the award-winning musical, Jersey Boys.

 Royal Ontario Museum

The ROM has more than 6 million objects in its collection and has just undergone a multi-million dollar renovation, adding 27 new galleries and building the controversial new addition, the Michael Lee Chin Crystal.

 Art Gallery of Ontario

The AGO building has been transformed into its own work of art, after being re-designed by world renowned architect, Frank Gehry.  The gallery has more than 68, 000 works of art in it's collection, including pieces by Picasso, Henry Moore, Van Gogh and the Group of Seven.

Air Canada Centre

Canada's premier sports and entertainment facility, the Air Canada Centre is home to the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Toronto Raptors and the Toronto Rock lacrosse team.  The ACC has been recognized with more than 25 awards over it's 10 year history. 

 Rogers Centre

An integral part of the Toronto skyline for 20 years, the Rogers Centre and its retractable roof are home to the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Argonauts.
